I was asked to create cupcake toppers for a Stella & Dot trunk show party. I went to their site and found a few pieces that I though I could recreate in fondant. I made 2 pairs of drop earrings, some silver bangles and one of my favorite necklaces. Placed them all on medallions of their signature turquoise color. I love how beautiful these turned out!

Princess Birthday Cake
I was asked to create a simple princess cake. Usually these cakes are anything but simple but I came up with this design and LOVE how beautiful it is. Although simple to make it is anything but simple visually!

Doc McStuffins Birthday Cake
I have now created 5 Doc McStuffins cakes and still can't do it without singing "Time for a Checkup" through the whole process. The birthday girl wanted a purple cake with Doc ontop. We surrounded her with bandaids, dots and her stethoscope.

Easter Cupcakes
These were some really fun cupcakes for Easter. The chicks are in a nest of meringue. They are atop lemon meringue pie cupcakes. Once the meringue was toasted it looked like a nest.
I`m in love with anything bunny bums for Easter treats. These were adorable as they sat awaiting their cupcakes but even cuter once they were placed in the icing grass.

Art Deco 50th Birthday Cake
I was given free reign on the design of this cake. Pastor Charles wife wanted something masculine but grand for his special day. She wanted Tiffany blue and gold but the rest was up to me. This is not entirely the design I had first planned out but I had a few issues in getting the cake done and had to redo the top two tiers 2 hours before I had to leave for the party. Execution is not my best but the cake is still grand and everyone at the party loved it. I was even roped in to presenting the cake in front of everyone at the party. Not something I am comfortable doing but I was invited to stay and enjoy the dinner and theatrics of the night.

Easter Bunny Bum Cake
This was one of my favorite cakes I made last Easter weekend. The feet and tail on their own were adorable but once I made the bum (which is a half ball of cake) it was beyond cute. I used oreo cookie crumbs for the dirt and made the carrots out of fondant.
Sports Themed Birthday Cake
Jacob loves sports but his favorites are soccer, basketball and hockey. I created this cake with his favorite team`s jersey...Ottawa Senators. A great way to make a slab cake not so boring

Minecraft Birthday Cake
This is the second time I have done this cake and I still have no idea what this game is. It makes for a pretty cool cake though. Minecraft characters on top of the square cliff.

Easter Lily & Cross Cake
I created this cake for a good friend who's family was celebrating with another family which they do every year. I surrounded the cake with piped rose technique and topped it with a three little calla lilies to represent the trinity and of course a cross. It was a lemon cake with a lemon curd filling and fresh strawberries between the layers and frosted with fluffy vanilla Italian buttercream.

Shopping Cupcakes
One of my clients wanted some special cupcakes to take with them on their cross border shopping trip. I created these based on a design she had found. After a few hours of shopping they would grab a coffee and head to the car for a cupcake break. There is ALWAYS an occasion for cake! Especially when they are topping some delicious gourmet flavored cupcakes.

Princess Dress Birthday Cake
Rosalie wanted a few princesses represented on her birthday cake so to keep cost down I designed a cake based on their dresses. I was so ecstatic as it came together. It was SO cute! The princesses dresses who made the cake were Cinderella, Belle, Snow White & Aurora. I took my tiara cake design and altered it to create this masterpiece.

Funky Sweet 16 Birthday Cake
This was a fun cake to create. It was a funky background that I added all of Jillian's favorite things to. There is a soccer ball, dance shoes, grey cat, camera, swimmer, artists pallet, and a music note. It was such a fun cake.

Toy Story Birthday Cake
I created this cake for Ainsley's 2nd birthday. I was so happy with how this one turned out. I took a few elements from a few other cakes that I loved. The etch-a-sketch with his name was a brilliant idea I found. Added Woody and Mr. Potato Head and it was the perfect cake.

Cruising at 50 Birthday Cake
I created this cake in less than 8 hours. We decided to throw a little party at lunch the next day for a coworker and friend who was turning 50. I found a cartoon of the old lady driving and designed the cake around her. It was a fun cake and she was certainly surprised!

Giraffe Dedication Cake
This cake was a very special cake for me. I created this adorable guy for my nephew Cooper's dedication in March. It was a cake that designed itself because there were a few changes made throughout the process. It turned out So cute though.
I think he liked it too. They did their pictures behind the cake and the whole time he was trying to get at it.
And he dug right in. Can't wait for his 1st birthday!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday Cake
Charlie wanted Mickey and Pluto on his cake. This is the first time I had modeled Mickey in 3d and I was SO happy with how he turned out. This cake is just so adorable and Charlie was a very happy little boy when he saw it. That is why I love what I do. Bringing joy to peoples lives for at least a moment.
