This was for a friends bridal shower. I decided to base the design on the invitation that was sent out for the shower. I had an idea of how it would look in my head but it wasn't coming together just as I had hoped. It turned out pretty still even though it was redesigned an hour before the party began as the original idea just wasn't working out.

Bridal Shower Cake
For this cake I was asked for something pretty but simple, oh and purple! This is the design I came up with and I and the bride were very happy with it!

Bridal Shower Cupcakes
I was asked to make beautiful cupcakes for a bridal shower. She wanted the dress toppers and red roses to match her wedding flowers. These might be classic vanilla cupcakes with vanilla Italian buttercream but they are absolutely stunning cupcakes.

Pansy Bridal Shower Cake
This cake was designed by my client. She wanted a umbrella themed bridal shower cake with one large umbrella on top with pansies spilling down the cake from it. It was a beautiful design that turned into a beautiful cake.

Floral Garden Birthday Cake
A good friend and co-worker of my sisters ordered this cake for her mother's birthday a few months ago. It was a beautiful cake she requested and I loved bringing it all together but this was one very stressful cake as it was to travel 6 hours to it's recipient. She was very prepared though with coolers and cold packs to keep it from melting on the trip. It was also sent in pieces so she had to put the top tier on herself but it all went well and they were extremely happy with the cake. Good to know that they can travel but I don't ever want to have to do that again. I did't sleep very well until she got back and let me know how it went.

Rose Birthday Cake
This cake was made for a special ladies birthday. I had no idea where the cake design was going until it was finished but it turned out to be very beautiful. I started with the light green background and then added the many roses I had made using the circle rolling technique. It just didn't look finished so I added the small white dots (pearls) and it was then complete. It's a design that will work for any occasion.

Tropical Bridal Shower Cupcakes
My sister asked me to make some cupcakes for a friend of her's bridal shower. She is getting married down south so they threw her a tropical themed bridal shower. I made pina coloda cupcakes and topped them with some bright flowers. They were a hit!

Bridal Shower Cupcakes
My aunt asked me to make these for her future sister-in-laws bridal shower. I was supposed to be having a taste testing with her that afternoon but since she is from out of town this was the only chance Nancy had to throw the shower so our tasting got postponed. I crashed the party at the end to meet with Heidi to finalize the details but the cupcakes were all the flavors she had requested for her tasting. Carrot with maple buttercream, chocolate with raspberry buttercream and lemon with vanilla buttercream. I had bought the stand a few weeks ago and have been itching for an opportunity to use it so I lent it to Nancy to use the day of the shower. Can't wait to make her cupcake display for the wedding now.

Tea Party Bridal Shower
I made this cupcake display for a bridal shower that was an evening tea party. The cupcakes are gluten freeérefined sugar free chocolate with chocolate butter cream frosting that is also refined sugar free. They actually tasted good! I love that I can now offer this as an option. It's the closest thing to a healthy cupcake you can get.
