This adorable cake was requested to celebrate the upcoming birth of baby Bordeau. I loved being able to create this log cake with a cute little bunny and fox. The mushrooms are dusted with cocoa to give an authentic look. The cake is surrounded with chocolate cookie crumbs to look like dirt.
Celebrating the sweeter side of life. Custom cakes, cupcakes & sweet treats for all occasions.

Crocs & Bears Baby Shower Cake
I have been wanting to make some baby crocs for a long time now so when I won a contest for a free photo shoot and decided to have professional pics done I took advantage. I created two wedding cakes but wanted to show another side so I did a baby shower cake as well. I made the crocs green...well because I love green and I wanted to add in some brown so the bears were just naturally the right choice. It is one of my favorite cakes I have done so far.

Cowboy Baby Shower Cake
This cake was for a cowboy themed baby shower. The cow print makes a fun backdrop for this adorable and fun cake. A bandanna thrown over the corner of the cake and a baby riding a bottle with a cowboy hat top it all off.

Bird Themed Baby Shower Cake
This cake was designed from the plates that were being used at the party. It's a cute cake to celebrate the arrival of something so adorable. Bird's are cut from fondant and dried on sucker stick legs. Tree and nest are made out of modeling chocolate with whimsical leaves on every branch.

This cake was for a baby shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a little baby boy. The chocolate cake is covered in chocolate Italian buttercream. I covered it in blue and white dots to create a simple and sweet cake topped with a rattle.

Boy & Girl Monkey Baby Shower Cake
I was asked to do a cake for 2 separate Mom's, one having a boy and one having a girl. It stumped me for a while but then I came across a picture of 2 monkeys that inspired me to make this cake. It is a vanilla vake with chocolate Italian buttercream.

Welcome Baby Otar Plane Cake
I made this cake for my friend Amber's baby shower last week. They got the name Otar from Veggie Tales and although he is still so new the name seems to fit him. Already doesn't want to miss a party as he made sure he was here for the shower. Congratulations Ryan and Amber!

Baby Boy Booties & Bow Shower Cake
I was asked to design and make a cake for a baby shower. They knew she was having a boy so I designed this dots and paisley cake and topped it with a gumpaste bow and booties. I kept the colors to the classic blue, green and browns. Turns out that was the colors of the shower. The top cake was vanilla with vanilla buttercream and the bottom was chocolate with chocolate buttercream.

Dutch Themed Baby Shower
I was asked to do a dutch themed cake for a baby shower. It wasn't too hard for me to think dutch as my Mom's family is pure dutch. I got the idea for the cute windmill from a adorable cake I had found online and then ran with it and the fact that the Mother-to-be loves green to design this cake. I think it is adorable.

Nursery Rhyme Book Baby Shower Cake
I made this cake for a baby shower for 3 teachers at Castor Valley school. They were giving books as the gifts so I made a nursery rhyme book cake. I created the peom just for this cake. "Rattles & soothers, bottles & bibs. Sleepers & bears, blankets & cribs. It's almost time to laugh & play, with your bundles of joy that are on the way!"

Noah's Ark/ Jungle Baby Shower Cake
This is the cake I did for my sisters baby shower. I did a Noah's Ark and Jungle theme. The themes kinda ran together. I wanted to keep the cake simple but adorable. I did two layers of animal print with a Ark out of modeling chocolate for the topper. Of course the flavor is lemon with lemon and strawberry cream fillings, Jen's favorite.

Pregnant Belly Baby Shower Cake
I have seen these cakes online many times and have been waiting for the opportunity to make one. That came when I got an email asking for one for a baby shower. She wanted a pink and brown dress with flowers on it and this is how it turned out. I absolutely love this cake! Not only because it turned out the best of all the cakes I have made but it is cute and beautiful.

Lesley's Baby Shower Cake & Diaper Cake
I made these cakes for my cousin Lesley's baby shower. The theme was blue and green and farm animals. So I made a cow out of fondant to go atop a blue cowprint cake for the edible cake. I used blue, yellow and green receiving blankets and cloths to make the tractor diaper cake. I think it is all so cute. I love doing baby cakes.
