This cake was ordered for a treat for the Faith Chapel Church. She wanted something pretty to serve them the weekend before Christmas. I was given creative freedom and this is what I came up with. I wanted to keep it simple but beautiful. I started with a big red bow and then added some holly and berries to the scroll work. They were very happy with the cake!

Large Snowman Cake
I was asked to do a large flat snowman cake for the Dundas Manor's January birthday celebrations. They always have a fun theme for me to create a cake to match. The residents and the staff were all very excited when I brought them the cake. It always makes me so thankful for what I do when I get to see such reactions from the people who get to enjoy my creations. They thought it looked to good to cut into but please everyone....They are made to eat and taste just as good as they look!

Christmas Celebration Cake
My cousin asked me to make a cake to bring to her sons nursery schools Christmas play. I wanted to keep it fun for the kids. The flavor is even festive...gingerbread cake with dulce de leche buttercream.

Giant Cupcake HO HO Christmas Tree
This is this years version of the giant cupcake Christmas tree. I was going to repeat last years but I ate all the pretzel M&M's I had bought for the ornaments. I did have some green and red HO HO's done up for another cake and thought they would make a really fun Christmas tree. Good thing because I had bought a second bag of pretzel M&M's to replace the other one but...guess what...I ate them again :) The cake is a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing.
Santa's Sleigh Christmas Cake
I made this cake to showcase at a vendor fair I did for the Winchester Parade of Lights. It was a hit. It didn't sell though (whole cakes don't usually as no one wants to carry it around all day) so I brought it into the staff room for lunch at my day job. The cake was gingerbread with a dulce de leche Italian buttercream. They were very appreciative.

Holiday Cakes (Christmas Tree & Snowmen in Toques)
I know Christmas was a couple months ago but I am finally catching up on my loading pictures so bare with me. I didn't realize I was so far behind. This first cake I did was made using the giant cupcake pan. It is a very versatile pan...I love it! The cake is chocolate and the buttercream is bailey's. I used M&M pretzel bites for the Christmas balls.
This second cake is a design I found online and loved so much I had to do it myself. I thought the snowmen were so cute. The cake itself is gingerbread and the frosting is caramel buttercream.

Holiday Cakes and Flavors
I was trying to come up with some new flavors for the holiday season and was inspired to make a cake. So since I was in the holiday mind set I did a Santa's hat cake.
New flavors I am offering for the Christmas season are
Red velvet cake with candy cane cream cheese filling
Gingerbread spice cake with lemon cream filling
Chocolate cake with candy cane buttercream filling
Egg nog cake with butter rum candy filling
Candy Cane cake with white chocolate buttercream filling
Wether it be a santa, rudolph or something a little more winter inspired a holiday cake can be a great centerpiece to any holiday part spread.
