Winter Thank You Cake

I was asked to make a cake for the student who has been doing her placement at my Mom's work. It was her last day with them so they wanted to do something special. I had found a card online that had the tree and bird on it with some snowflakes and it inspired me to create this cake. I have found that cards are an excellent place to find inspiration for cake designs. Really inspiration can come from anywhere!

Easter Bunney Thank You Cake

This cake was for a luncheon this afternoon to Thank all the volunteers at Castor Valley school. It was a bunny theme and a very "sweet" way to say thank you.

Doodle Cake

I made this cake for a friend who wanted to thank the teachers and staff at her sons school for a great year. I searched for inspiration and all the cakes I found were targeted for grade school teachers. This was for high school teachers so I wanted to do something a little more appropriate. I did what most high schoolers do on their notebooks I doodled all over the cake.
