This Harry Potter themed cake was for a little guys birthday. The Gryffindor badge and scarf are hand painted. I rolled out a long piece of fondant to create the wand. I made a cone shape from card stock to hold the shape of the hat while it dried. I added extra brown coloring and didn't mix it in before I frosted the cake to give this effect. I was very happy with how it all turned out.
