Cake has been a part of my life for as far back as I can remember. My Mom was a cake decorator when I was younger and I discovered a few years ago that I had inerited her talent for it as well. I have not been satisfied with my jobs for a while now so I thought why not do something I love. Helping people celebrate the big moments of their lives. I can do cakes for all occasions. Let me be a part of your next celebration. Official website is secondgenerationcakedesign.com

Money Saving Monday ~ Regrowing Veggies From Scraps

One area we all would love to save money in is the kitchen. With the rising price of groceries growing your own food is a great way to make your food work for you. I found this great article that shows you how to regrow some of the staples from scraps we would normally just throw away. I had bought green onions last grocery trip so decided to give it a shot and it really does work. They take up very little space and very little effort on my part. I change the water every few days to keep it fresh and will now have an endless supply of green onions at hand. Will be picking up the rest of them to try. I really urge you to check out this article and try this in your home. It won't cost you anything.
